Bird on the Buffalo was officially launched in 2016.

The label was created soon after we welcomed our beautiful baby girl Sayer into the world. Whilst pregnant and searching for a nappy bag, I noticed a gap in the Australian market for unique, contemporary baby bags that were versatile and stylish at the same time.

The Honey Satchel was the first bag I designed and after a 12 month trial period it ticked all the boxes suiting both parents and babies needs. Three more designs were added to the collection and from here the brand was born.  

The Bird on the Buffalo range has now expanded with the designs broadened to suit travel, work and every day lifestyles  while also maintaining the simplicity, practicality and style that Bird on the Buffalo is all about. 

Each bag is carefully hand made, from high quality, beautiful soft vegetable died leather.

Cleverly designed, the Bird on the Buffalo collection has the versatility to not only be used as a baby bag, but also a hand bag, work satchel or travel bag. 

Bird on the Buffalo bags are now enjoyed all over the world.
